Parcom Capital acquires stake in GoodHabitz

Parcom Capital has recently acquired a substantial interest in GoodHabitz, while also injecting capital into the business to facilitate international growth. GoodHabitz is a leading provider of online education in the Netherlands, with a reach of nearly one million users.

GoodHabitz recently opened an office in Germany. Robert van der Wallen (founder of BrandLoyalty) played a prominent role in bringing together the two companies in this partnership. Van der Wallen will be seated on the supervisory board of GoodHabitz.

Robert van der Wallen, co-investor at Parcom Capital: “I am excited about this investment opportunity. Its proven business model, coupled with a young and unique culture and motivated people, creates a strong foundation for future growth. I am looking forward to sharing any relevant entrepreneurial experiences I have.”

More than just a financial transaction
Maarten Franken, managing director at GoodHabitz: “GoodHabitz will be able to further grow its leading position during this partnership with Parcom Capital. In addition to Parcom Capital’s financial contribution, we will benefit immensely from the vast expertise that Parcom Capital and Robert van der Wallen bring to the table. Their experience will help us to fully optimize our business operations. After successfully entering the German market, we soon want to expand into the Belgian, British and French markets. Eventually we expect to become the European leader of the online education sector.”

    Impressed
Parcom Capital’s Ad Notenboom: “We are very impressed by the management team and founders of GoodHabitz who have built up a fast growing and leading provider of online training. GoodHabitz has all the potential ingredients for expedited growth in the Netherlands as well as abroad. GoodHabitz distinguishes itself from competitors through unique in-house content creation, as well as a simple and scalable business proposition. We are looking forward to a partnership with this extremely motivated management team, and anticipate accelerated growth in the near future.”
