Parcom Capital Management B.V. (“Parcom Capital”) and the management team of MAIN Energie announced today their intention to acquire Streamline Holding B.V. (“MAIN Energie”).
MAIN Energie, founded in 2003, is the fastest growing supplier of energy to the Dutch corporate market. The company provides 100% green electricity and gas to c. 50,000 connections. MAIN Energie maintains long term relationships with its clients who represent a cross section of Dutch corporates.
As an independent energy provider, MAIN Energie is ready for its next phase of growth which focuses on unburdening clients by offering full scope energy management services. Parcom Capital regards the acquisition as an excellent addition to its portfolio in view of the strategic growth ambitions of MAIN Energie as well as its network and experience with similar investments.
The current management of MAIN Energie remains unchanged and in collaboration with Parcom, has formulated ambitions to allow MAIN Energie to grow further in the corporate market and adjacent client segments. This growth will be pursued through additional development of applications and services that will support improvement of energy-efficiency for clients. Through direct customer service and attention from an experienced sales team, MAIN Energie will focus on delivering specific energy solutions, based upon insights in the energy consumption of the individual client and flexible billing structures. MAIN Energie generated sales of around EUR 100 million in 2014. The head office is located in Amsterdam with currently more than 100 employees. The transaction is subject to customary merger approvals and is expected to close in Q3 2015.
